Gardiner is situated in Southwest Montana, at the North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The town is nestled in breath taking Paradise Valley, with the Yellowstone River. Gardiner has the atmosphere of a quaint western town, complete with Antelope, Bison, Deer and Elk meandering and grazing throughout the town. Yellowstone National Park is the worlds first national park. Our forefathers were convinced of this areas beauty and unique features so as to be moved to enact a law making it a special place in our country. 1872 the Senate and House debated a proposal to set this parcel of land aside as a national park for all to be able to visit and enjoy. The proposal passed both the House and the Senate. Signed the bill thus making it a law and establishing Yellowstone National Park.
